“What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” – Napoleon Hill
Three factors aid every success story: 1. Conception- birth of ideas, 2. Faith- strong belief in your idea and yourself and 3.Action- working on the idea that you believe in to see it become a reality. You transmute an idea into a reality going through this arithmetic: Idea+ Faith+ Action= Reality/Result. Whatever idea you believe in and act upon will produce you a reality/result. The reality or result may be something that requires repeated actions to attain and sometimes re-strategizing in order to reshape your idea to generate the desired result, but you must keep faith and work it through until the big picture is attained.
“Well done is better than well said.” ~Benjamin Franklin~
“The strongest factor for success is self esteem: believing you can do it, believing you deserve it and believing you’ll get it.” ~Learning Station Music~
“The path to success is to take massive determined actions.”~Tony Robbins~
Let passion drive whatever you do, let nothing hold you back. Never allow your past mistakes or failures, present success, money or people to hold you back from breaking new ground. Do not permit fear or shyness to retrain you, let passion motivate your action towards your goals in life.
“Work like you don’t need the money. Love like you’ve never been hurt. Dance like nobody is watching.” – Mark Twain
“Whatever you do, do with determination. You have one life to live; do your work with passion and give your best. Whether you want to be a chef, doctor, actor, or a mother, be passionate to get the best result.”~Alia Bhatt~
“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.”~ Harriet Tubman~
“Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow.”~ Anthony J. D’Angelo~
If you have parents or people who have prepared the roadmap to success for you, you don’t need to reinvent the wheel but to follow through to the top. However, if you have no prepared roadmap for your use, you must be proactive to design it yourself with quality decision of what you want out of life and also look for a mentor (close by or distant) in your field who has gone ahead of you and successful in that area to learn the ‘how’ and ‘what’ to do to go through to create your own roadmap to success. Knowledge and wisdom are indispensable as you design your roadmap to success; make your design a legacy and a compass for success for your future generation. There is no excuse for failure, take responsibility for your success.
“Every goal has it’s own roadmap to success.” ~ Roz Fruchtman~
“Some of us have great runways already built for us. If you have one, take off. But if you don’t have one, realize it is your responsibility to grab a shovel and build one for yourself and for those who will follow after you.” – Amelia Earhart
“Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you will land among the stars.” – Les Brown
To reach for the moon is to dream big. This is beyond a realistic goal, it is something the universe can offer in the power of the almighty. This is a vision that makes you set goals that will take the possibility of God and your faith to accomplish. Setting a realistic goal requires low action which anyone can reach but when you dare to dream big, most times, it’s beyond you and it will require over commitment of massive action. This keeps your mind set for greatness, which in turn unleashes your latent potential, helps you connect to the like minded people, reach out for the resources required and continuously drive for success seeing each day as another opportunity to go higher until you hit the target. Dare to dream big. Forget realistic goal and go for what the ordinary will call ‘impossible’. Such has produced airplane, what will yours produce? This kind of thinking will rescue you from the mindset of average and open your mind for greatness.
“Success is measured in terms of reaching your goals, dreams, and expectations. Your success is determined by hard work, persistence, and determination. If you are going to be a success in life, it is up to you… it is your responsibility.” – Will Horton
Never allow your first attempt discourage you if things don’t work out. Success is a process and not an event. Success is a process and every attempt should add up to your result. The reason why success is not an event is simply because the day of your breakthrough is when you finally hit your target and that makes all your actions of little steps count. So if you are not yet in the address you desire, keep moving until you get there.
“There is no one giant step that does it. It’s a lot of little steps.” – Peter A. Cohen
Faith in the negative is a disaster to success, while doubt in the positive is a menace. Certain vocabularies such as impossibility and failure must be deleted from your dictionary if you are going to succeed in anything in life. If you are going for success keep your mind on success and not failure. Don’t think about ‘if it doesn’t work’ but rather think ‘it will work’. You will generate the result that occupies your mind. “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he”. Never allow circumstance to suggest failure to you. Think and feel what you want and act accordingly. Listen deliberately and walk away from those who want to sow negative seeds of it won’t be possible into your mind. Place a higher demand on yourself for success only and back it up with massive action. Believe it is possible as long as your passion is connected to it, get wisdom you need, get spiritual backing as well and go for gold.
Both the rich and the poor are given equal time of 24 hours a day to maximise their potentials. Time is a common denominator but how you use it is what determines what you make out of it. The clock keeps ticking, telling you that time waits for no one. Time gives us all equal space but you are the one who determines what you input in the space of time. What ever you set to do, you must make time for it because you will not have a reserved time if don’t make it out for yourself. Now is the time to make out time to plan how, why, when that project must be executed. Time management is a major tool to your success, so work on it.
“You will never find time for anything. You must make it.” – Charles Buxton
Create time for what you love, spend time doing what will unleash your potential.
Don’t just try to survive but live to fulfill purpose. Surviving is just to get by but fulfilling purpose is making an impression. Only the strong at heart can go through tough times and prevail over difficulty of life. To conquer over mockery, persecution, attacks, betrayal and all odds, you must be strong. You must be spiritually, mentally and physically strong to be successful in what you were ordained to do on earth. To make a difference involves strong decisions and actions but to be common does require nothing. You must act differently and creatively to dominate your field. Ordinary doesn’t require much but extraordinary requires ‘extra’, a plus, I mean something extra above others. Create that difference.
“It takes a strong fish to swim against the current. Even a dead one can float with it.” – John Crowe
Only the strong are courageous to go through difficult season.
To be successful in this life, you must be focused, I mean seeing with your mind and not just your eyes. Always keep in mind the desired end result of that great goal. Challenges will surely come as obstacles to frustrate, distract and stop you, but if you must reach your goal, you must keep the big picture of what you desire in mind and fight those frightful things you can see with your eyes by deliberately ignoring them and be obsessed with your goal and ensure you work it with massive action to success.
When you loose focus, distraction is inevitable. Your mind must be your eyes and your eyes must be positioned to focus solely on your goal. When you maintain this position, you will only see your goal and not obstacles but when your mind wavers from your goal you are bound to see obstacles. Keep your mind and your eyes on your goal. Avoid distraction, you can do it.
“Obstacles are those frightful things you can see when you take your eyes off your goal.” – Henry Ford
Let your mind be your eyes as you work on your goals. Keep your eyes on your goal to avoid distraction in order to overcome obstacles.
Hello great people, It’s a new week and I will like to share with you some valuable tips about leadership success. These tips have helped me as a leader and I hope they will be helpful to you as well.
The unique quality that all leaders have in common is that they have a clear and exciting vision for the future. This is something that only the leader can do. Only the leader can think about the future and plan for the future each day. The followers or subordinates won’t do this for the leader, therefore, the leader must be proactive and develop a clear vision.
Develop A Clear Vision
An Excellent leader will do the following: I. Take the time to think through and develop a clear picture of where they want the organization to be in one, three, five and ten years. II. Communicate this vision in such a way that others “buy in” and eventually see the vision as belonging to them.
It is the vision of the future possibilities, of what can be, that arouses emotion and inspires people to give of their best. The most powerful vision is always qualitative, aimed at and described in terms of values and mission rather than quantitative, described in terms of money.
Of course, money is important, but the decision and commitment to “be the best in the business” is far more exciting.
To encourage others, to instill confidence in them, to help them to perform at their best requires first of all that you lead by example.
Be A Great Team Player
A study at Stanford Business School reveals two important qualities required for great success in leadership. The first is the ability to put together a team and function as a good team player. Since all work is ultimately done by teams, and the managers’ output is the output of the team, the ability to select team members, set objectives, delegate responsibility and finally, get the job done, was central to success in management.
Keep Your Cool
The ability to function well under pressure especially in a crisis is key to the promotion of any leader and keeping your cool in a crisis means to practice patience and self-control under difficult or disappointing circumstances.
Remind Yourself That Everyone Is Watching
Critical moments under fire reveals the character and quality of a leader. These are moments when everyone is watching, observing and privately taking notes. As Rudyard Kipling once said, “If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs and blaming it on you, then the world is yours and all that’s in it”.
Your responsibility as a leader is to have a clear vision of where you want to go and then to keep your cool when things go wrong, as they surely will.
